Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds → let them sizzle. Then add chopped onion & green chili. Sauté for 1 min.
Add tomatoes → cook for 1–2 mins till soft. Now add turmeric, chili powder, salt. Mix well. Let the masala cook!
Crumble paneer directly into pan. Mix well with the masala. Cook for 2–3 mins on medium flame.
Turn off the flame. Sprinkle fresh coriander. Serve hot with roti, toast or pav.
