Superstar Salman Khan, known for his larger-than-life screen presence and unstoppable energy, made a striking revelation on his return to The Great Indian Kapil Show. While he appeared in great spirits and physically fit, the actor disclosed that he has been silently battling multiple serious neurological disorders — but hasn’t let any of it slow him down.
Salman Khan’s Shocking Confession on Kapil’s Couch
During a candid chat with host Kapil Sharma, Salman playfully dodged questions about marriage, before getting real about the personal and medical challenges he’s been facing.

In his trademark humorous-yet-honest tone, he said:
“Main rozana haddiyan tudwa raha hoon… pasliya toot chuki hain. Trigeminal neuralgia ke saath kaam kar raha hoon. Dimaag mein aneurysm hai, AV malformation bhi hai — phir bhi kaam kar raha hoon.”
(Translation: “Every day I’m breaking bones… ribs have fractured. I’m working despite suffering from trigeminal neuralgia. There’s an aneurysm in my brain, and I also have an AV malformation — yet I keep going.”)
The actor added, in reference to marriage and finances:
“Agar unka mood kharab hua toh woh aadha le jaayengi. Ye sab jawaani mein hota toh theek tha, ab firse shuru karna mushkil hai.”
(“If her mood turns sour, she’ll take away half. If this happened in my youth, I could’ve rebuilt. But starting over now… it’s not easy.”)
Salman Khan ’s Silent Battle with Chronic Conditions
This isn’t the first time Salman has spoken about his health struggles. Back in 2017, during a promotional event in Dubai for Tubelight, he had shared that he suffers from trigeminal neuralgia — an extremely painful nerve disorder often dubbed the “suicide disease” due to its unbearable intensity. Even basic activities like chewing or brushing teeth can become agonizing.
In the latest episode, however, Salman went further — revealing that he’s also been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, and arteriovenous malformation (AVM) — both potentially life-threatening conditions.
- Brain aneurysm: A ballooning of a blood vessel in the brain that can burst, leading to stroke or death.
- AV Malformation: A rare vascular defect that disrupts normal blood flow and can result in seizures, headaches, or hemorrhages if untreated.
Still Standing, Still Strong
Despite these intense medical challenges, Salman Khan continues to work relentlessly — doing action scenes, hosting shows, and remaining one of the busiest stars in the industry. His confession gave fans a glimpse of the grit and resilience behind the glamorous image.
While most would step away from the spotlight in the face of such diagnoses, Salman seems to only double down, living proof of the phrase: “The show must go on.”
